Admiralty pattern rectangular deck plates are manufactured in high tensile steel and come in a self colour finish. There main application are for lashing down points on the decks of Naval and Commercial vessels. It is extremely important to point out that deck plates come with a proof load only certificate. The Working Load Limit (WLL) is subject to the correct welding procedure being carried out and a subsequent proof load test. Only after proof load testing can a WLL and trace code be applied to the item.
Our range of drop forged loadbinders are used within the transportation industry for the efficient tightening down of chains to secure loads. LTS stock two types of loadbinder: the lever type and the European ratchet type which meets the EN 121295-3 standard. All our loadbinders come in a painted red finish.
Lifting Tackle Suppliers supply Grade 80 short link chain suitable for loadbinding use as per EN 12195. The chain is available in self colour and black powder coated finish. We generally stock two types of hooks for end termination; the Grade 80 Clevis Grab Hook and the Grade 80 Clevis Sling Hook both meet the EN 12195 standard.
Our polyester roundslings comprise of a core enclosed in a protective cover. The core is the load bearing part of the roundsling and is in the form of a hank of yarn made up from one or more strands wound together continuously and joined to form an endless sling. The protective cover is a woven tubular outer sleeve which is designed to be non-load bearing as it is for protection and containment of the core. LTS can generally supply roundslings from 1 tonne to 10 tonnes and from 1 metre up to 12 metres circumference. The effective working length of the sling is half the circumference. Our polyester roundslings are manufactured to the EN 1492-2:2000 standard and can be fitted with extra protective wear sleeves upon request.
As well as roundslings we also offer polyester duplex webbing slings to EN 1492-1:2000 standard. These multi-layered flat slings are fitted with flat or folded eyes each end. The range of duplex webbing slings are available from 1 tonne to 10 tonnes and from 1 metre to 12 metres long. Again protective wear sleeves are available upon request. Both the roundslings and duplex slings can be supplied to customer specifications if required.
Our heavy duty ratchet lashing range are generally available in two standards, the older BS 5759 1987 specification and the newer European EN 12195 Pt 2 standard dependant upon the customer’s preference. The ratchet straps are available with various end terminations: Delta links also known as D links, Claw hooks or Double J hooks and Snap hooks. We can also supply an endless belt assembly ratchet strap. If you have one off special lashing requirements then give us a call.
Our extensive range of fall arrest equipment includes safety harnesses to EN 361, shock absorbing lanyards to EN 355, safety lines to EN 354 and safety hooks to EN 362. Parts can be purchased individually with a harness bag to make up a bespoke kit or brought as a standard harness or scaffolders harness kit.
